Twenty-one Months
March was a crazy month. Early in the month we took Ty to see a Sesame Place live show. Then of course there was Easter. Tyler had a good time visiting the Easter Bunny and hunting for Easter eggs.
The highlight of the month was going to Disney World. Ty loved all the characters. He wanted to give every one of them a "big hug". Winnie the Pooh and Tigger seemed to be his favorites. We even managed to take Ty on quite a few rides like Dumbo and It's a Small World. He also really enjoyed swimming in the pool in the afternoon.

Twenty Months
Tyler has become more expressive around people he sees frequently. However, he has developed this wicked look when he is feeling shy. He lowers his head and looks at you from under his eyelids. It's a really mean look but he still is so adorable. I guess we won't have to teach him much about "stranger danger."
Ty has developed a taste for pasta, especially lasagna. He even tried scallops over spaghetti with pesto sauce.
Whenever Ty questions something he shrugs his shoulders and asks "What happened?" It's so cute!

Unfortunately, Ty has been down for the count with a nasty cold all month, which he has shared with Daddy and Mommy.

It seems like a lot of Tyler's teeth have come in. This may account for his increase in eating. He's getting more proficient in feeding himself.
With the new addition Ty is running all around, dancing and babbling all the way. When he does something new he likes everyone to clap for him, and doles out high fives.
Part of Tyler's nightime routine includes a quiet half hour watching Wheel of Fortune, (he likes the letters and sounds).

We've hit the big time - not only can Tyler stand alone but he has also taken his first steps! This of course allows him to get into all the cabinet doors and drawers. Ty also got his front two bottom teeth.
Ty expresses more emotions by clapping his hands and we think he can say the word "Dance".
Tyler found himself with a blue mouth after he tried to eat an egg he found on his 1st Easter. Other first adventures for Ty were to the zoo and the beach. This kid gets around.

Tyler had a few visits to the doctor's office this month. The first was for a round of shots, he weighed 19lbs 11.5oz and was 27.5in long. Then we had to take Tyler back to see the doctor for a bad cold that lasted about a week.
We had to install safety gates this month, because he is up and going! On Feb 10th Ty officially crawled. Plus he is pulling himself up to stand and using the sofa as a guide to walk around.
Another milestone - Tyler got his two bottom, front teeth.

Since Christmas Tyler has a lot of new toys to play with. On top of giggling and squealing, he is babbling and saying da-da-da. He also likes to shake his head back and forth for no reason.
Everything Tyler touches goes towards his mouth. He is eating cereal puffs and he loves to gnaw on his sippy cup.
Tyler is becoming more mobile. Besides zooming around in his walker he is almost crawling (it's actually more of a full body lunge).

He gets a lot of exercise running around in his walker. He's really becoming an independent person taking his own ninny in and out of his mouth. We think we can hear him say "mum"
